One of the group chats that I’m on recently opened up a debate on whether the word “master” should be used anymore, given its trouble history with slavery.

The group teased around the idea of abolishing the word entirely, citing its usage as ‘master/slave’

The word ‘Master’ is used across the world with a number of different connotations.

It drives me nuts America can pretty much update a globally used language and erase a word with multiple interpretations because it is unable to deal better with its own troubled past.
