Types
- Hot water - These use convection of hot-water to circulate heat
- Steam - these have steam run through pipes. More efficient for large buildings. However, the cause steam-hammering. The bang is created when some of the steam condenses in the pipe, which gets taken up by high pressure steam and hurled at high velocity through the pipe.
